Eldertown
A downloadable tabletop RPG
Eldertown is a comical cooperative storytelling game set in a high-fantasy retirement community of former adventurers who haven't yet lost their passion for epic quests and daring challenges in spite of their ever-advancing age. When trouble suddenly besets Eldertown, you can count on the Retired Adventurers to be at the ready, even if their old bodies get in the way!
Eldertown is played over the course of multiple Stories, each of which should last about the running time of a single episode of The Andy Griffith Show (25-30 minutes), meaning that a single session can incorporate multiple Stories. Each player only needs a single notecard to record the important information of their character - ability scores, Perks, and (most importantly) their Age, which increases at the conclusion of each Story.
Eldertown invokes high fantasy themes using fiction-first, rules-lite mechanics from popular TTRPGs such as Cairn, Crown & Skull, and Into the Odd. Inside you'll find rules for:
- Character creation: ability scores, Lineages, Careers, and Perks
- Creating a fantasy retirement community
- How to play
- How to create Stories & Challenges
- Sample Retired Adventurers
- A Story generator for quick inspiration

Hi!Are you considering providing some community copies? Or preview files? Or gameplay videos? I'm very interested in this topic but I'm looking for more information.
Yes! I'm brand-new to publishing on this site but I am interested in community copies. I'll work on getting some preview files as additional screenshots. It's a TTRPG, though, not a video game.
